What was that campaign about against McCain? “No 3rd Bush term”
It looks like Obama is basically saying all of the decisions made by Bush really are just fine. They just lacked the nuance of being explained in the manner that he, Obama, can explain them.

If we had a true media that served as a independant observer and voice, this would be on places other than Powerline. We don’t. We have an intellectual elite that despises President Bush and will be blaming him for everything that goes wrong in the Obama Administration. And their fawning, absolute worship of the One may very well mean a potential disaster ahead for our nation.
