JK takes a look at Dollhouse and Terminator.
I’ve always liked the blowing up of everyone so you can start a new story line plan (Terminator), so I’m not concerned about that. I liked ghost Kyle showing up.
Dollhouse has big potential, but it also has potential to blow itself up too. The Dollhouse is already getting investigated and our hero is already having memories she shouldn’t be.
That leaves Battlestar Galactica. The countdown is on and apparently their way of ending this is to introduce new characters to explain the others. I guess it’s a plan. I preferred the actual concept of rebellion against the enemy. There could have been more torturedness by not immediately saying that the final 4 were necessarily evil since they never involved themselves in the destruction of humans. Instead – Cylon=Enemy=Rebel against Adama.
??
All good fun.

without BSG what will we do for space travel? time to dust off the Babylon 5 reruns and those of Farscape….still resisting the Stargate pull…..
I met some other people this weekend that had scheduled everything in their lives around BG! Okay not that serious but it was an event.
I thought you were a loner that way!! hah
I don’t mind the explosion. I was a little put off by Ms. Weaver’s bionic Veg-O-Matic arms. I don’t know, tough room. (I’ve since updated my post to dial it back on a second viewing.)
Before the break, the show was heading in some very interesting directions with the humans studying the metal and them studying us. Agent Ellison’s gig to train John Henry juxtaposed with Cameron’s attempts to understand human behavior. They also did some artistic cinematography and clever use of music (Sampson & Delilah).
Now, my fear is that they are turning that aside to do a super-geeked-out finish. I hope I am wrong.
Ah, yes, the arms were a bit much. And now that it’s so clear how evil she is, it ruined the interestingness of her character. How is she interested in human behavior if killing them by the boatload is an answer?
I’m with you.
