More people and Global Warming

Point: More people, means more carbon pollution!! People should only have 2 kids and that’s it because people are ruining the world!

Counterpoint: If people are causing global warming which will cause people to die, then why not wait until then and then have less people vs killing them now.

Why are we supposed to care about carbon footprints? Because of global warming? But why do we care about global warming? Because it will hurt people. If we see people as the problem, then there’s nothing to care about anymore.
