In regards to credit card reform Gibbs had this to say:
“For many people credit cards provide an opportunity to finance purchases,” Gibbs said. “But we think there’s a more equitable way to do that and I think that those reforms are on their way through Congress.”
Is Obama in his “spread the wealth” philosophy going to making buying stuff “equitable”??

Head-scratcher. This is sort of like saying “for many people refrigerators provide an opportunity to keep food cold”.
What else, besides financing purchases (=buying things without handing over money immediately) does Mr. Gibbs think credit cards are for exactly? Given someone with such a mentality, I’m afraid to find out…
I know. Odd, odd, odd. It stands out and makes you wonder what these folks are thinking.
