I had forgotten rule number 1 when trying to figure out what the hell our state department is doing in regards to Honduras.
(ps – I’ve added a category for all my Honduras posts but it’s taking some time to get through them. You can just search “Honduras” in the search bar if you’re interested. Who knew this story would last?!)
So where is the money situation in Honduras?
Apparently in George Soro’s pocket.
Yes, it’s a big long twisted tale. But once you put a guy like George Soros’ in the middle of the decisions this state department has made in regards to Honduras, at least things start to make sense.
Why else would this government of ours choose to meddle in the constitutional affairs of Honduras? Unless it was just looking for somewhere to show it’s “strong yet lefty credentials” during the time of real Iranian upheaval?
Read the link. There isn’t a small part to clip and copy that would make the whole story make sense, but here’s the conclusion.
Honduras’s interim President Micheletti has denounced both Chavez’s attempt to turn his country into a satellite of Venezuela and has angrily and publicly noted the drugs flowing through his country from Venezuela with Zelaya’s help. The Honduran government has said that Zelaya’s reinstatement in non-negotiable. They will not have him back under any circumstances. By not bending to the will of the leftists in the region, and the Obama State Dept, Honduras has thrown a huge monkey wrench into the plan to continue funneling drugs from Venezuela through Honduras into the US, and that doesn’t further George Soros’s goal of drug legalization.
There appears to be no proof of this, but I’m still in the “trying to understand what we’re thinking when it comes to Honduras” mode.
