A friend is looking for input on the big healthcare debate if you care to add a few words to my ramblings in the comment section.
Here’s an interesting interview with some members of congress.
I think others have the town halls, the school indoctrination, the illegalities and/or insults of Obama’s administration.
I’ll continue to rant about Honduras,
Call the State Dept. at 202-647-5171. Deliver the following message:
Secretary Clinton, please DO NOT follow the recommendation of the State Department.
DO NOT legally define the constitutional presidential succession in Honduras as a military coup.
DO NOT cut off aid to Honduras.
And now let’s talk a bit about Obama’s magic pledge to support animal rights and how he is going to just thrown them (animals) under the bus too.
I’m actually ok with hunting wolves because I want them to be afraid of us. Deathly afraid of us else they’ll be slaughtered again. Currently their numbers are ok.
I’m not ok with the roundup due to start tomorrow on the horses of the Pryor Mountains in Montana. Ginger Kathrens will point out the many reasons for why this is unscientifically sound.
I’ll point out that hiring a federally indicted criminal to chase 180 wild horses from differing bands down a mountain side and into a pen in order to sort out 70 of them for sale because someone somewhere decided that since there was a draught 4 years ago there, the Pryors can’t sustain a viable herd of horses is not, is not following a pledge to support animals.
Dave Cattoor is a contractor hired by the BLM to perform wild horse round-ups. He and his wife and son run a business largely funded by the American taxpayer to harass and remove wild horses and burros. He was indicted by a federal grand jury and pled guilty to illegally hunting wild horses, aiding and abetting in 1992. He rounded up protected American mustangs, corralled into pens, loaded them into trucks, and hauled them to a slaughter house in Texas where they lost their lives. It was government theft and animal abuse. Among wild horse and burro advocates, he has a reputation of being cruel and inhumane. Photographs of newborn foals run to exhaustion, found hog tied on the range, horses and burros bleeding from their nostrils, broken legs and injured during exhausting gallops to captured pens are displayed on many wild horse and burro web sites.
I am outraged by so much of this administration, this is just one more thing.
Go on Obama, talk to your crazy new science advisor.…we’ll wait.
These horses have been there for 200 years. We can wait.
We sit here and are outraged by the Japanese dolphin killing,
They put to sea in a dozen boats before dawn and find migratory pods about 1 mile offshore, Mr O’Barry said. Banging on metal poles in the water, they create “an acoustic net” and herd the dolphins into the bay around which the town of Taiji lies. A net is placed across the mouth of the bay and the fishermen go home for the rest of the day; the belief is that the dolphins will calm down and their meat is more tender.
In reality, Mr O’Barry says, “The dolphins are terrified and frantic.”
The following morning, the fishermen return and – with middlemen or representatives of aquariums – select the best specimens for sale, before tying ropes around the tails of the remainder and dragging them backwards to a neighbouring cove where the slaughter is carried out.
but at least they are killing for meat.
These horses are being killed for unused pasture.
Each passing day I, like Scott, am feeling more venomous about this administration.
He – who’s been busy – is going to have more to say.
Me – who’s been busy -wants to ignore it all and just talk about Honduras.
Hope you can stand a link to a great little video “Mel the Mariachi”.
Enjoy!
