If you are on the terrorist watch list, are you most certainly a terrorist?
This story from May last year has the FBI list at 24,000 people and yet it doesn’t include people who are current subjects of investigations.
So let’s say you’re on list.
Should you no longer have the right to free speech?
Should the government be able to overrun your home without a warrant?
Should you no longer have a right to representation or life?
Then what about your right to bear arms?
Dana Milbank questions the NRA’s patriotism because they believe a person should have their constitutional rights until they shouldn’t.
If it’s this easy to take away your constitutional rights, or leave you without citizenship in any country – it’s too easy.
(There is a bill proposed to strip citizenship away from citizens who are involved in terror groups)
What’s the matter with treason?
Citizenship matters and should be taken seriously. If you are a citizen and you join the enemy, that’s treason and you should be hung.
If you are a citizen, you have a right to bear arms until you have destroyed your own rights in that. Being on a list because you have cash, or visited Pakistan doesn’t cut it. IMHO
