Thanks for the ht! Two personal items:
1. Jonathan V. Last is my sire; his article in The Weekly Standard got me watching Buffy.
2. A guy who worked for me used to complain about computer inaccuracies in film. He always said he was “going to Hollywood to be a ‘stunt programmer.’” He was a PhD and could have corrected their Physics as well.
Wow!! That was a great article. And every bit is true.
Sadly, if the physics were corrected in movies, we could never have that semi on the ramp in Diehard 15 or whatever it was.
That still has me laughing.
