Stories from days gone by

Of El Baradei, John Kerry, George Bush and some “missing” explosives.

go and read Cliff May.

The whole Al Qaqaa issue was a complete fraud; the explosives, if they ever existed, were gone by the time U.S. forces captured the depot. Once the election was over, not a single moment was wasted by anyone, worrying about the “missing” weapons. But here is the point: who started the Al Qaqaa fraud? Mohammed El Baradei. The Democrats’ claim was based on a letter from the IAEA that was leaked.

New Hero – Judge Vinson

Judge Vinson (appointed by Reagan) kills the entire Obamacare monstrosity due to the unconstitutionality of it’s mandate.

As Powerline points out that Obamacare’s “exceptions” to it’s rules now number 733. 733 ‘friends of Obama’ do not have to comply.

And ThreeSources has a video up by Reason that is just sad to watch. A reminder of how we got to where the government really thinks its ok to require people to buy something.

And here is a link to a post of mine back in good ol 2006 on Romneycare. They too argued that mandating health insurance is just like mandating car insurance. Hah! I can not believe people really think that Romney ought to be the next President with this in his past.

Ugly

The documents – obtained by the WikiLeaks website and passed to this newspaper – provide the first comprehensive picture of the often desperate steps taken by western Governments to court the Libyan regime in the competition for valuable trade and oil contracts.
