In Venezuela when things gets hard, the government prints money. And when things then get harder the government orders price controls. And when that leads to stockpiles you get this:
“The law of supply and demand is a lie,” Karlin Granadillo, the head of a price control agency set up to enforce the new regulations, said yesterday on state television. “These are not arbitrary measures. They are necessary.”
If it’s a lie there, then it must be a lie everywhere. Start stockpiling now before the government does what is necessary!
