Thought Experiment from the Headlines

America is Stealing the World’s Doctors while India plans big in crease in health-care spending to catch up to rivals.

India is working to make health care free for all and better their numbers as far as infant mortality is concerned.
In the meantime doctors in Africa are deciding that practicing in Africa is bogus and they are tired of not having the resources to do what they’ve been trained to do, so they come here. Guilt and all.

The doctor stealing only mentioned Africa but I know that US has a lot of Indian docs too. If the government is to run health care, they will need to put resources into it so doctors can practice, lest they lose their doctors. Here cutting doctor pay for medicare is always budgeted and never practiced. Doctors are still sick of it and often choose not to treat further medicare patients.

People, even doctors, will do what is best for themselves and their families.

Football

Perhaps I have no right to a football opinion being that I just barely pay attention and only watch the games during bad weather when I’m looking for an excuse to sit down and do nothing, but it seems to me that if you currently have 1 young quarterback with some pretty decent stats and a LOT of potential, you wouldn’t want to risk such a man to replace him with another quarterback who is most definitely on the downhill slope towards retirement no matter how many good years he has in front of him.
