No matter how disappointed the left is with Obama, they will be voting for him.
Today House of Eratosthenes found a column listing reasons for that support. He notes that most of the reasons are actually talk with very subjective results. Some of which we have to wait until after the next election to see.
eg.
He saved the automobile industry by saving General Motors and Chrysler.
Time will tell on that one. He certainly postponed their demise, but shutting down their famous (infamous) Volt is not a good sign.
How about this one:
– He helped to inspire, and adeptly responded to, a wave of democratic revolutions in the Arab world.
Seriously – the author gives him credit for that and is apparently still calling these revolutions “democratic”.
I would say he’s a smooth operator, but he’s not. The left is apparently just still fooled. The comments over at House are worth a read. The original article is worth a laugh.
