After a thorough investigation that lasted nearly a week the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division has concluded that the allegation made by Private Thomas Scott Beauchamp, the “Baghdad Diarist”, have been
“refuted by members of his platoon and proven to be false”
But we knew that anyway.
It wasn’t that long ago that it was said by many…..”We can’t do anything about immigration without a comprehensive strategy”.
Nothing else was going to work. Those who opposed the comprehensive bill were fools because at least it included some of the things requested by those concerned about illegal immigration. That was the only way, the only way things could ever get done.
Hah…..
In today’s news we have the LA Times noting a crackdown on illegal immigrants using laws already in place concerning using bogus social security numbers. Hmmmm.
And the NYTimes notes the Senate looking into small pieces of the big comprehensive bill. You know…the parts about paying for the border and ensuring that illegals brought here by parents when they were two, who have lived a solid upstanding life, get to stay.
It’s a freaking miracle I tell you!!!
Israel is so well known for it’s “human rights violations” that the UN has a special committee just for them.

Words fail me
Essentially 4 Sudanese were trying to cross from Egypt into Israel. Egyptian soldiers shot 2 and wounded 1. The fourth made it to the border where an IDF soldier stretched out his hands to pull the guy across the border. An Egyptian pulled from the other side and won the tug, whereupon that Sundanese man along with the previously wounded one were beaten to death.
Words fail me too.
