Calf Blogging

I forgot my camera (again) last night….so I bring you an older picture that I didn’t post a month ago. It does include one of the Mamas, so you can see how one of the calves might be growing!

Nature Stories

In Germany, their national symbol, the white tailed eagle has worked its way back from 6 breeding pairs in all of Western Europe to 531 breeding pairs in Germany.

That’s amazing! This story talks of Thomas Neumann who started working on restoring eagle numbers in 1968 for WWF, crossing over into East Berlin and suspected of being a spy.

Congratulations to them. And to the US, who’s own national symbol the Bald Eagle is officially off even the “threatened” list of species as of this June.

Set this one aside

I always say I’m going to set aside predictions for later.
This one on global warming I’ll save right here and we’ll take a look see later. (using the internet as a warehouse)

ps I’m not saying the prediction is wrong, (global warming will really kick off in 2009), [I have no idea!] I’m saying, I want to keep this article around and see what happens!
