Move along

Don’t bother with me today, read
Michael Yon and

NYTimes “Select”

The wall the NYTimes put up 2 years ago to get revenue from all those online people who were going to start paying to read their columnists is going to come down.

With barely a whisper.

Uncorrelated makes a prediction that I won’t bet against.

I’m going to take a bit of a flyer and suggest that Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich will not suddenly find themselves back in business like there were before the wall was built. Nature abhors a vacuum and a lot of things have changed since 2005. Other voices have been raised in their absence and no one is automatically going to give way for the geezers.

So while their columnists re-seek their fame, I suppose the Times is making up for whatever revenue gains they made in subscriptions by selling terrorists some ideas.

So long as they can sleep at night.
